Responsibilities
- Assist in the construction, renovation, and repair of residential and commercial buildings.
- Load, unload, and stack construction materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
- Operate power tools and hand tools under the supervision of a foreman.
- Perform basic site cleanup, including removal of debris and waste materials.
- Measure, cut, and shape wood, concrete, and other materials to specifications.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to maintain a secure work environment.
- Communicate effectively with crew members and project managers.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, rain, cold).
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating quantities.
- Strong desire to learn and a positive attitude toward teamwork.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- No prior construction experience is required; we teach you everything you need to know.
