Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites efficiently.
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling ground.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction equipment and power tools under supervision.
- General Labor: Perform various manual labor tasks including carpentry support, painting prep, and concrete finishing.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Assistance: Support senior tradespeople with daily tasks to ensure project milestones are met on time.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: Previous construction experience is a plus but not mandatory; we offer on-the-job training.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing/walking on uneven terrain.
- Reliability: Strong commitment to attendance and punctuality.
- Communication: Ability to follow instructions clearly from supervisors and communicate effectively with the team.
- Tools: Basic tools are provided; willingness to use them is required.
- Transportation: Reliable personal transportation to reach job sites across the Charlotte metro area.
