Responsibilities
- Assist with general site preparation, including digging, tamping, and clearing debris.
- Operate hand tools such as shovels, brooms, and hammers under the supervision of a foreman.
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment from trucks.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to ensure a safe work environment.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site at all times.
- Perform basic measurements and assist with concrete pouring or framing tasks as directed.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to perform physical labor for long hours, including lifting heavy objects and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
- No prior construction experience required; on-the-job training provided.
