Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites using hand trucks, dollies, or forklifts.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with daily tasks and project execution.
- Perform general site cleanup, including removing debris, trash, and excess materials.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Operate basic construction tools and equipment under supervision (e.g., drills, saws, levels).
- Measure, cut, and prepare materials as directed by the site supervisor.
- Perform physical labor including digging, lifting, and carrying heavy objects for extended periods.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
- No Experience Required: Must be willing to learn and follow instructions.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50-75 lbs frequently throughout the shift.
- Work Ethic: Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude is essential.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time hours, including weekends and potential overtime.
- Communication: Basic ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Tools: Willingness to provide basic personal safety gear (steel-toed boots are recommended).
