Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and skilled tradesmen with material handling and site preparation
- Operate basic hand/power tools under supervision (hammers, saws, drills)
- Perform debris removal, site cleanup, and waste management
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain organized work areas
- Support concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks as needed
- Transport materials using wheelbarrows, dollies, and carts
- Adapt to changing project priorities and weather conditions
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Valid driver's license preferred (not mandatory)
- Willingness to pass background check and drug screening
- Punctual with reliable transportation to job sites
- Basic math skills for measuring and material counting
- Positive attitude and commitment to learning new skills
- Ability to work in all weather conditions (heat, rain, cold)
