Responsibilities
- Assist Craftsmen: Provide direct support to skilled tradespeople, including carpenters, electricians, and general contractors.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials at job sites efficiently.
- Site Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure a safe environment.
- Tool Operation: Learn to operate and handle basic power tools and equipment under supervision.
- Demolition & Prep: Assist in demolition tasks, excavation, and site preparation for new builds.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company regulations at all times.
- Transportation: Transport tools and supplies between the warehouse and job sites.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Weather Tolerance: Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, rain, and cold.
- Work Ethic: Strong desire to learn and a proven history of reliability and punctuality.
- Team Player: Ability to communicate effectively and work well within a diverse team.
- License: Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation are preferred.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED is a plus, but not mandatory for this entry-level position.
