Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with residential and commercial electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance.
- Prepare work areas by gathering necessary tools, materials, and equipment.
- Ensure all work is performed in strict adherence to local and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site at all times.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure project expectations are met.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and testing of electrical systems under supervision.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation to travel to job sites.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read simple instructions or diagrams.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs and working in various weather conditions.
- High school diploma or GED is preferred, but not strictly required for entry-level positions.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a desire to learn a skilled trade.
