Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with daily construction tasks, including carpentry, masonry, and general site preparation.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site efficiently and safely.
- Perform general site cleanup, including removing debris, sweeping floors, and maintaining a tidy workspace.
- Operate basic construction tools and machinery under strict supervision and safety guidelines.
- Measure and cut materials as directed to ensure accuracy in project specifications.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a hazard-free environment.
- Communicate effectively with the crew and supervisors regarding task requirements and site conditions.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to perform strenuous physical labor, including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods.
- Must possess a valid Driver’s License and have reliable transportation.
- Basic English proficiency is required for safety communication.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, rain, etc.).
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude are essential.
