Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various construction tasks, including carpentry, drywall hanging, and site preparation.
- Load, unload, and organize building materials, tools, and equipment at job sites.
- Perform general cleanup and maintenance of job sites to ensure a safe and organized working environment.
- Transport materials to and from the site using hand trucks, dollies, or forklifts.
- Follow all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Measure, cut, and prepare basic materials under the direct supervision of a foreman.
- Answer call-outs and work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
Qualifications
- No prior construction or trade experience is required; we are looking for attitude and work ethic.
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read a tape measure.
- Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
