Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in the setup and preparation of construction sites, including clearing debris and marking areas.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and distribute construction materials, tools, and equipment safely.
- Equipment Operation: Operate hand and power tools (under supervision) such as drills, saws, and compressors.
- Support Trades: Aid skilled tradespeople (electricians, plumbers, carpenters) with various tasks as needed.
- Quality Control: Ensure all work meets safety standards and project specifications.
- Site Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Physical Fitness: Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Transportation: Reliable transportation is required; ability to travel to sites in Austin, TX or North Carolina is essential.
- Attitude: Strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn new skills.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions clearly.
- Documentation: Must be eligible to work in the United States.
