Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling ground.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site using hand trucks, forklifts, or cranes.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction equipment and tools safely under supervision.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards.
- Assistance: Support skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various tasks as needed.
- Quality Control: Ensure work meets project specifications and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects and standing on feet.
- Availability: Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or overtime as required.
- Communication: Good verbal communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
- Reliability: Punctual and dependable attendance record.
- Tools: Basic knowledge of hand tools and construction safety gear is a plus but not mandatory.
- Valid ID: Must have a valid ID to work in the United States.
