Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with daily tasks and site preparation.
- Load, unload, and distribute construction materials to designated work areas.
- Operate basic construction equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, and jackhammers under supervision.
- Ensure the construction site is clean, organized, and safe according to OSHA standards.
- Measure, cut, and handle lumber, drywall, and other building materials accurately.
- Perform minor repairs and maintenance on tools and equipment as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols and site regulations strictly.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects.
- Basic math skills for measuring and estimating materials.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation to the job site.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work well within a team environment.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
