Responsibilities
- Assist Tradespeople: Support carpenters, electricians, and masons with daily on-site tasks and material handling.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment safely on the job site.
- Site Preparation: Prepare job sites by digging, cleaning, and setting up temporary structures as needed.
- Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Basic Operations: Operate basic construction machinery and power tools under supervision.
- Support: Perform any other duties assigned by site supervisors to help meet project goals.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform heavy physical labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Driver's License: A valid driver’s license is preferred but not always required.
- Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and willing to work flexible hours as needed.
- Communication: Good communication skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Experience: Previous construction or general labor experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Tools: Basic hand tools are a bonus.
