Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians: Perform basic wiring, conduit bending, and installation tasks under supervision to gain practical skills.
- Maintain Equipment: Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with all safety regulations and OSHA standards.
- Read Blueprints: Study and interpret basic electrical blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements.
- Install Components: Help install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, fixtures, and equipment in residential and commercial settings.
- Load and Unload Materials: Assist in transporting and organizing electrical materials, tools, and supplies at job sites.
- Customer Service: Interact with clients professionally to explain project status and answer basic inquiries.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: We are looking for candidates eager to learn; formal licensing is not required for this entry-level position.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods; comfortable working in various weather conditions.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with basic arithmetic for measuring and calculating.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
- Problem Solving: Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions precisely.
