Responsibilities
- Assist with various construction tasks including framing, drywall hanging, painting, and general cleanup.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, schematics, and project plans.
- Move materials and equipment to designated work areas.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Collaborate with foremen and other tradespeople to ensure project milestones are met.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in construction or a related skilled trade is a plus but not required for entry-level.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
