Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality electrical installation, maintenance, and repair in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate installations.
- Inspect electrical systems, components, and devices to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Test electrical systems to ensure proper functionality using multimeters and other testing equipment.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to OSHA safety regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers and team members to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician License required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on electrical experience.
- Skills: Proficient in wiring, circuitry, and troubleshooting electrical faults.
- Tools: Own or be willing to provide a personal set of basic electrical tools.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
- Availability: Must be available for overtime and weekend work as needed.
