What You'll Do:
- Assist journeyman electricians with residential and commercial installations.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Ensure all work areas are clean and safe.
- Learn and adhere to all local, state, and national electrical codes.
- Use hand and power tools effectively under supervision.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and heights.
- Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude are a plus.
- No prior experience is necessary; a strong work ethic is required.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks.
- Set up job sites, including gathering materials and tools.
- Learn to identify and use various electrical tools and equipment.
- Follow safety protocols and company procedures strictly.
- Perform basic cable pulling, wire stripping, and termination.
- Help maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Document work completed as directed by the supervisor.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs and working on ladders.
- Strong desire to learn the trade and obtain a Journeyman license.
- Good communication skills and team-oriented attitude.
