Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing job sites, including clearing debris and leveling ground.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the site using heavy machinery or hand tools.
- Tool Operation: Operate power tools, such as drills, saws, and compressors, under supervision.
- Assist Trades: Provide support to skilled tradespeople including carpenters, electricians, and masons as needed.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
- Documentation: Sign in daily and adhere to all safety logs and reporting procedures.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience: Prior construction or landscaping experience is a plus but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- License: Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Skills: Basic understanding of safety protocols and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
