Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with various construction tasks including excavation, demolition, and material handling
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently (hammers, saws, drills, etc.)
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment at job sites
- Maintain clean and organized work areas to ensure safety compliance
- Follow blueprints and instructions from supervisors accurately
- Participate in site preparation and cleanup activities
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of construction or labor experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Basic knowledge of construction safety protocols
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
