Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, masons, etc.) with daily site tasks.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively under supervision.
- Perform general cleanup of work sites, removing debris, trash, and excess materials.
- Assist in digging trenches, foundations, and preparing sites for pouring concrete.
- Follow all safety regulations, company protocols, and OSHA guidelines at all times.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to the site supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: Prior construction experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (50+ lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Physically fit and capable of working in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain).
- Basic math skills for measuring and cutting materials accurately.
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as project demands require.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the job site.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
