Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in clearing and preparing job sites, including digging, grading, and debris removal.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and distribute construction materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Support Trades: Provide hands-on support to skilled craftsmen, including carpenters, electricians, and HVAC technicians.
- Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety standards.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic construction tools and machinery under the supervision of a foreman.
- Quality Control: Help ensure that work meets project specifications and blueprints.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform manual labor for long shifts, including lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Driver's License: Valid Driver’s License and reliable personal transportation are required.
- Safety Mindset: Familiarity with basic construction safety protocols and a commitment to a safe work environment.
- Communication: Strong ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with the crew.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends and potential overtime.
- Experience: Previous construction experience is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated candidates.
