Responsibilities
- Assist in site preparation, excavation, and material handling using hand/power tools
- Operate machinery like forklifts, jackhammers, and concrete mixers (training provided)
- Follow OSHA safety guidelines and maintain clean, organized work areas
- Read blueprints and execute tasks under supervisor direction
- Load/un construction materials and debris safely
- Collaborate with skilled tradespeople on project timelines
- Complete daily equipment maintenance and safety checks
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic tool proficiency (hammers, saws, drills)
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training available)
- Flexibility to work early mornings/weekends
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Previous construction experience preferred but not required
