Responsibilities
- Assist with general construction tasks including loading, unloading, and transporting materials to and from the job site.
- Perform site preparation duties such as digging, leveling, and clearing debris.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently under the supervision of skilled tradespeople.
- Follow all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols strictly to ensure a safe work environment.
- Clean and maintain the job site, ensuring tools and equipment are stored properly.
- Collaborate effectively with the crew to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
- Perform basic measurements and assist with framing, drywall, or painting tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
- Basic knowledge of construction tools, safety equipment, and procedures is a plus.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions and at heights when necessary.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a team-oriented attitude.
