Responsibilities
- Assist skilled trades with material handling, site prep, and cleanup
- Operate hand/power tools safely (saws, drills, jackhammers)
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and wear required PPE
- Read basic blueprints and execute verbal instructions
- Load/unload equipment and materials at job sites
- Maintain organized workspace and report equipment issues
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic construction tools (hammer, tape measure, gloves)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong work ethic and punctuality for weekend shifts
- OSHA 10 certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience with concrete, framing, or demolition preferred
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
