Responsibilities
- Execute excavation, grading, and concrete preparation tasks using hand tools and heavy equipment
- Assist carpenters and masons with material handling, site cleanup, and debris removal
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and maintain organized job site conditions
- Operate machinery including jackhammers, saws, and pneumatic tools under supervision
- Read and interpret blueprints to support precise construction implementation
- Perform quality checks on completed work to meet project specifications
- Participate in daily toolbox meetings and safety briefings
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction labor experience with weekend shift availability
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather conditions
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic math skills for measurement and material calculations
- Experience with power tools and construction machinery operation
- Strong teamwork ethic and clear communication abilities
- Pre-employment drug screening and background check required
