Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Clear and prepare construction sites, including digging, grading, and debris removal to ensure a safe working environment.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site using hand tools, forklifts, and heavy machinery.
- Assistance: Support skilled tradespeople, including carpenters, electricians, and framers, with various on-site tasks.
- Equipment Maintenance: Keep tools and equipment clean, organized, and in good working condition.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations, site-specific safety protocols, and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Quality Control: Ensure all work meets project specifications and quality standards set by the project manager.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a consistent basis.
- Experience: Previous experience in general labor or construction is preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform strenuous physical labor for extended periods, including lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- License: Valid California Driverβs License and a clean driving record.
- Tools: Access to standard construction tools is a plus.
- Safety Mindset: Strong commitment to safety protocols and workplace cleanliness.
