We are a premier general contracting firm known for delivering high-quality residential and commercial projects on time and within budget. We are currently expanding our weekend crew and are looking for individuals who are physically fit, safety-conscious, and eager to learn.
As a key member of our weekend team, you will assist in various phases of construction, ensuring our sites are prepared and maintained to the highest standards. We offer a dynamic work environment, consistent overtime opportunities, and a team that values your hard work.
Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, lumber, and tools on the job site.
- Site Support: Assist carpenters, electricians, and plumbers with daily tasks including framing, drywall hanging, and basic finish work.
- Site Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of debris to ensure a safe environment.
- Tool Operation: Operate power tools (drills, saws) and hand tools safely according to manufacturer instructions.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations, wear appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), and report hazards immediately.
- Measurements: Measure, cut, and fit materials to precise specifications using measuring tapes and levels.
- Trash Removal: Manage waste removal and haul away construction debris daily.
Qualifications
- Schedule Availability: Must be available to work rotating weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Physical Stamina: Capable of lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions.
- Driver’s License: Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation are required.
- Experience: Prior experience in general construction, landscaping, or warehouse labor is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal instructions and communicate effectively with the crew.
- Math Skills: Basic ability to read a tape measure and perform simple calculations.
