Responsibilities
- Perform general labor tasks on construction sites, including loading, unloading, and transporting materials.
- Assist skilled tradespeople with framing, drywall installation, painting, and cleaning.
- Operate and maintain power tools and heavy equipment safely.
- Follow all site safety protocols and OSHA regulations strictly.
- Prepare job sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and project plans.
- Ensure high-quality workmanship and timely completion of assigned tasks.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in construction or labor work is a plus but not required; we provide on-the-job training.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects (50+ lbs) repeatedly.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the Sacramento worksite.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Physically fit and capable of working in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team.
