Responsibilities
- Perform general labor tasks on construction sites including loading, unloading, and transporting materials to and from the job site.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with various construction duties as directed.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site by sweeping, cleaning debris, and removing trash regularly.
- Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to ensure a secure work environment for the entire crew.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, drawings, and project instructions to understand task requirements.
- Perform minor site preparation work, including digging, cutting, and leveling.
Qualifications
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a rotating or fixed schedule.
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for measuring materials and inventory counts.
- Valid driverβs license and reliable transportation (preferred for travel to NC sites).
- Steel-toed boots and personal protective equipment (PPE) provided; must be willing to wear them.
