Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up barriers, and organizing materials
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with task-specific labor duties
- Operate hand/power tools safely (saws, drills, jackhammers) under supervision
- Load/un construction materials and equipment at job sites
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean work areas
- Complete daily progress reports and time tracking
- Adhere to project schedules and supervisor instructions
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety procedures
- Strong work ethic and punctuality (6 AM start times)
- Drug-free and willing to pass background checks
- Willingness to travel between NC/TX job sites (mileage reimbursed)
- Previous construction experience preferred but not required
- OSHA 10-hour certification (training provided)
