Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site safely.
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various tasks including cutting, drilling, and measuring.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in strict adherence to OSHA safety standards.
- Perform site preparation tasks such as digging, leveling, and debris removal.
- Operate power tools and heavy machinery (if qualified) under direct supervision.
- Follow blueprints, diagrams, and verbal instructions to complete projects accurately.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to the Site Supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
- Must be physically fit and able to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions and on various job sites.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Basic understanding of construction safety protocols is highly preferred.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- No prior experience required; on-the-job training and apprenticeship programs available.
