Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings.
- Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure compliance with all local and national electrical codes.
- Maintain a 100% safety record by adhering to OSHA regulations and company safety protocols at all times.
- Conduct thorough troubleshooting of complex electrical issues to minimize downtime and restore power efficiently.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Document all work performed, including time logs and material usage, for accurate billing and record-keeping.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license issued by the State of California.
- Minimum of 4-5 years of hands-on experience in commercial and industrial electrical work.
- Proficiency in reading electrical blueprints and understanding load calculations.
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various environments, including heights and confined spaces.
