Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up equipment, and marking areas
- Assist skilled tradespersons (carpenters, masons, electricians) with material handling and task completion
- Operate hand/power tools safely and maintain equipment functionality
- Adhere to strict OSHA safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times
- Load/unload materials and transport supplies to designated work zones
- Perform site cleanup and waste management to maintain project efficiency
- Complete daily progress reports and communicate with site supervisors
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months construction labor experience or equivalent physical work background
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and perform physically demanding tasks in extreme heat
- OSHA 10 certification preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Strong work ethic with punctual, all-weather availability
- Basic math skills for material measurements and inventory tracking
- Ability to follow verbal instructions and work independently or in teams
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
