Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other tradespeople with project tasks
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris and setting up equipment
- Load/unload materials and transport tools to work areas
- Follow safety protocols and maintain clean work zones
- Read basic blueprints and follow supervisor instructions
- Operate hand/power tools under guidance
- Complete daily time logs and progress reports
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor
- Basic understanding of construction safety standards
- Flexibility to work early mornings (6 AM starts) and weekends
- Must pass pre-employment background check
- Own basic hand tools (hammer, tape measure, etc.)
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Willingness to learn new skills on-site
