Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor tasks including excavation, demolition, material handling, and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently (saws, drills, jackhammers, etc.)
- Assist skilled tradespeople with installation tasks and construction processes
- Maintain clean, organized job sites by debris removal and equipment maintenance
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and OSHA regulations
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and project specifications
- Complete daily timecards and progress reports accurately
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of construction/labor experience preferred
- Valid OSHA 10-hour construction certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Boston metro area
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and environments
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
