Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials to and from job sites.
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various on-site duties, including demolition, excavation, and site preparation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by removing debris, trash, and excess materials.
- Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools (e.g., shovels, brooms, wheelbarrows) safely and efficiently.
- Follow all safety protocols, OSHA guidelines, and company policies to ensure a secure workplace.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and instructions to understand project requirements.
- Communicate effectively with site supervisors and team members regarding project status and needs.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid government-issued ID.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read a standard tape measure.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills.
- Ability to work well in a team setting and follow verbal instructions.
