Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from the job site.
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up scaffolding.
- General Labor: Perform a variety of manual tasks including carrying heavy loads, mixing concrete, and assisting skilled tradespeople.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic construction tools and machinery safely under supervision.
- Site Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety regulations.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with site supervisors and team members to ensure project goals are met.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing on concrete for long hours.
- Reliability: Must have a reliable method of transportation and be willing to work full-time hours, including weekends and overtime when necessary.
- Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Attention to Safety: Willingness to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow safety protocols.
- No Experience Required: High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not mandatory for motivated candidates.
