Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and grading the land.
- Material Handling: Load and unload building materials, tools, and equipment from trucks and deliver them to the work area.
- Hand Tools: Operate and maintain basic construction hand tools, such as shovels, hammers, and levels.
- Assist Tradesmen: Provide support to skilled tradespeople, including carpenters, electricians, and plumbers, as directed.
- Site Safety: Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols.
- Cleanup: Perform general cleanup duties at the end of each shift to ensure the site is ready for the next day.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: We welcome entry-level applicants and provide comprehensive training.
- Physical Stamina: Must be able to perform physical labor for long periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and standing for extended hours.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and willing to work various shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Communication: Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time in the New York area.
