Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, leveling ground, and setting up temporary fencing or scaffolding.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Operational Support: Operate basic construction equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks, and jackhammers) under direct supervision.
- Quality Control: Ensure all work meets blueprints and supervisor instructions to maintain high quality standards.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company safety protocols at all times.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area at the end of each shift.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand or walk for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Reliability: Must have a strong work ethic, be punctual, and have a consistent attendance record.
- Communication: Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred.
- Teamwork: Willingness to collaborate effectively with other crew members and supervisors.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
