Responsibilities
- Execute physical labor tasks including excavation, material handling, and equipment operation
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and job site regulations
- Assist skilled tradespersons with concrete, masonry, and framing operations
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and proper tool management
- Operate power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) with precision
- Participate in site preparation, cleanup, and waste management
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and project specifications
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience preferred
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in extreme weather
- Valid O-10 construction safety certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and construction materials
- Reliable transportation to job sites within NYC boroughs
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to follow verbal instructions
- Driver's license with clean record (required for equipment transport)
