Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.
- Perform general cleanup of job sites, including removing debris, trash, and excess materials.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, masons) with various tasks and setups.
- Operate basic construction machinery and power tools under strict supervision.
- Measure and cut materials (wood, metal, concrete) according to blueprints or supervisor instructions.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment by adhering to all OSHA safety standards.
- Signal operators of heavy machinery to facilitate safe transport of materials.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects (50+ lbs) repeatedly throughout the day.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions and physical environments.
- Basic math skills for measuring and estimating material quantities.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Must be physically fit and able to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
- Strong work ethic and a desire to learn a trade.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
