Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by cleaning, digging, and leveling the ground.
- Material Handling: Load and unload building materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks.
- Equipment Support: Operate hand tools and power tools under the supervision of skilled tradesmen.
- Waste Management: Remove debris and trash from the job site to maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Assistance: Provide general support to carpenters, electricians, and other trades as needed.
- Documentation: Complete daily time sheets and safety logs accurately.
Qualifications
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform strenuous physical labor for extended periods.
- Experience: Prior construction or general labor experience is preferred but not strictly required; we provide on-the-job training.
- Safety Awareness: Must adhere to all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and willing to work in various weather conditions.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- License: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
