Responsibilities
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting materials, and operating hand/power tools
- Assist skilled tradesmen with site preparation, cleanup, and material handling
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain organized work areas
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and supervisor instructions
- Operate equipment like concrete mixers, jackhammers, and trenchers (with training)
- Assist in building structures, setting forms, and pouring concrete
- Maintain daily equipment inspection and report maintenance needs
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training provided)
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Basic math skills for material measurement
