Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical wiring diagrams.
- Install conduits, wiring, junction boxes, and electrical fixtures according to local and national electrical codes.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical equipment and systems.
- Ensure all job sites are clean, organized, and comply with OSHA safety regulations.
- Test circuits and equipment to ensure proper functionality and safety.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project status.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: Must be willing to learn and complete our comprehensive apprenticeship training program.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED is preferred; equivalent work experience is considered.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in various weather conditions.
- Work Environment: Must be comfortable working in tight spaces, at heights (on ladders/buckets), and around construction sites.
- Soft Skills: Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving abilities.
