Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Prepare work sites by laying out materials, tools, and equipment required for the job.
- Perform basic electrical tasks including stripping wire, bending conduit, and mounting outlets and fixtures.
- Ensure strict adherence to Miami-Dade County safety codes and local electrical regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Communicate effectively with project managers and team members regarding job progress.
- Load and unload materials from delivery trucks and assist with inventory management.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED is preferred, but not strictly required for this entry-level role.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Physically capable of standing, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for reading measurements and blueprints.
- A strong desire to learn the electrical trade and a positive work attitude.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
