Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to understand project requirements.
- Perform basic electrical tasks such as pulling wire, stripping insulation, and mounting outlets.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper tool storage and waste disposal.
- Conduct routine inspections and tests on electrical components to ensure functionality.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding job progress and potential issues.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of math and measurement is a plus.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen.
