Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
- Prepare work areas by gathering materials, tools, and equipment as directed.
- Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed during every job site visit.
- Perform basic electrical tasks such as stripping wire, installing outlets, and mounting fixtures.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Learn to read blueprints and electrical schematics under supervision.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not mandatory.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to learn and a strong work ethic.
- No criminal record (background check required).
