Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks on electrical equipment and circuits.
- Ensure all work strictly complies with local and national electrical codes (NEC) and OSHA safety regulations.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Install and terminate wiring, outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, and circuit breakers.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members regarding project timelines and requirements.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- No prior experience required; we are looking for eager learners.
- Must be able to work in various weather conditions and physical environments.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to pass a standard background check and drug screen.
