Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Prepare work areas by laying out materials, organizing tools, and ensuring a clean workspace.
- Perform basic electrical tasks such as pulling wire, stripping conductors, and terminating devices.
- Maintain a high standard of safety compliance at all times, including wearing proper PPE.
- Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment under supervision.
- Communicate effectively with the crew and project managers regarding job progress and safety concerns.
Qualifications
- Willingness to Learn: No prior experience required; we provide the training.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, bend, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with basic arithmetic and measurements.
- Reliability: Punctual and dependable with a strong work ethic.
- Communication: Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
