Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain residential and commercial plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
- Diagnose and resolve plumbing issues such as leaks, clogs, and low water pressure.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
- Use hand and power tools, including pipe wrenches, saws, and pressure testers, safely and effectively.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure system efficiency and compliance with local codes.
- Communicate professionally with customers to explain technical issues and provide accurate estimates.
- Keep work areas clean and organized, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license.
- Basic math skills for measuring distances, lengths, and angles.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and work in tight or confined spaces.
- Strong willingness to learn and a positive attitude toward on-the-job training.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as needed.
